The following is an excerpt of the 911 call made by Taylor Placker's mother, Vicki Placker, on the night of the murders. The excerpt was released by the OSBI on July 22.

Dispatcher:. . . Emergency.
Placker: Somebody´s killed two girls on --My daughter, my grandbaby and --her friend. I´m on County Line Road.
Dispatcher: What happened down there?
Placker: I don´t know. They went for a walk and they´re both --they´re dead.
Dispatcher: Your daughter´s dead?
Placker: They´re dead!
Dispatcher: Your granddaughter?
Placker: Yes and my, her friend
Dispatcher: Ok. Where´s this at ma´am? Stay calm.
Placker: I´m on County Line Road.
Dispatcher: Which County Line Road?
Placker: On Bryant Road.
Dispatcher: On Bryant Road?
Placker: Yes,. . . oh my God, I´m having an, I don´t know, help me please.
Dispatcher: OK ma´am I need you to stay calm so we can get out there to you ok?
Placker: OK.
Dispatcher: Let me pull my map and try and find out where you´re at.
Placker: Route 1, 185.
Dispatcher: OK. We can´t look them up with the routes.
Placker: Oh, please, please, please, please, please! Lord, help me, please.
Dispatcher: OK. Just stay on the line with me.
Placker: Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God! My God, my God, my baby!
Commentary from OSBI Agent Jennifer Brown: It breaks your heart hearing that, doesn't it? Someone knows something. Listen to that, understand what it's done to these people --what it's done to the community, and just come forward. Even if you're afraid of law enforcement --that doesn't matter. Put that aside, come forward, and give us the ideas, give us the places to look --because this person, these people, need to be caught.
